Last month, Uri: The Surgical Strike director Aditya Dhar got married to actress Yami Gautam in an intimate wedding ceremony. The couple shared the happy news with the world on their respective social media handles. Since then, the two have been breaking the internet with their dreamy and traditional wedding photos. On June 25, Yami Gautam and Aditya arrived back in Mumbai from Himachal Pradesh to resume the work.

Aditya Dhar has begun the work on his upcoming film The Immortal Ashwatthama, which will feature Vicky Kaushal playing the lead role. Recently, the Raazi star shared an update on the film and shared a photo of Aditya putting the plaster on him to get his shape. Sharing the post, Vicky wrote, “When the Director’s really serious about ‘casting’ you in the Film. Prepping to be The Immortal! @adityadharfilms #TheImmortalAshwatthama.” In the click, the filmmaker is seen making a victory sign as he poses alongside the actor, who is all wrapped up in white plaster.

Vicky Kaushal will be seen playing the mythological character of Ashwatthama in the movie. 

Calling The Immortal Ashwatthama the biggest film of his career, the actor said in a statement, “Ashwatthama is Aditya’s dream project and it required the backing of a visionary like Ronnie to bring this spectacle to audiences. It’s going to be a new space for me as an actor, exploring the newest form of technology alongside acting. Can’t wait to start the journey soon with this wonderful team.”
